 The Superleague Formula is a new sport which is shown on Cytavision since August 2008. The basic idea of the sport is a combination of two of the most popular sports in the world, football and Formula 1. The sport is identical with the Formula 1 Races with the difference that instead of participating delegations cars, each vehicle represents a football team.
The Races take place in cities hosting races of Formula 1 and runs in previously used for races (eg old track Silverstone) and have approximately the same character as normal races of Formula 1, namely qualification and main Races on two different days.
Participating teams: Liverpool, Milan, Anterlecht, Borussia Dortmund, Galata Sarai, Sevilla Eindhoven, Porto, Olympiacos and others.

Superleague Formula’s third season will visit the following 12 major circuits across Europe, from April – November 2010.
